Murray Morgan Bridge Renovation, City of Tacoma
The historic Murray Morgan Bridge was closed to traffic in 2007 due to safety concerns and a major renovation project was undertaken by the City of Tacoma. ORION was contracted by the city to provide Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Compliance support for the project. ORION provided worker exposure monitoring and various health and safety trainings. ORION provided on going environmental sampling to protect the waterway and ecosystem below the Bridge. Total cost of the services provided was $120,000.
