Your Role at a Glance:

As an Industrial Hygienist Technician, you’ll play a critical role in identifying workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and helping clients create healthier environments.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting asbestos, mold, lead, and indoor air quality surveys.
  • Performing assessments of occupational health exposures (e.g., asbestos, noise, and chemicals).
  • Preparing and delivering detailed technical reports for clients.
  • Maintaining and operating specialized equipment (sampling pumps, microscopes, etc.).
  • Traveling occasionally for out-of-area projects (personal vehicle required).
  • Collaborating with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure success.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in a related field or 2 years experience preferred.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):

  • AHERA Building Inspector
  • NIOSH 582
  • Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor
  • ICC Site Assessor

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test (required for federal sites).
